Deja vu

Jeff found a listing for 3 acres, very close to the original almost-bought lot from back in November.  He called the listing agent.  It is being sold by other members of the same family who originally owned the whole area, including the almost-bought lot.

She (the listing agent) was quite interested to hear the saga of our failed closing, apparently.  She’s going to call Mr. BadAttorney-NewOwner and say she has somebody interested in the land and see what he says.  If it really was the sale by this same family where the title problem came in, then she knows all the people who could clear it up by saying they agreed to the sale.

This is good news I guess, but it does make me want to crawl under the desk and whimper.  I don’t want to deal with Mr. BA-NO any more.  Our original realtor is still entitled to a commission if we buy it, since the original attempt was less than 6 months ago.  And it still has the same issues, being narrow and requiring a very long driveway.  And we still don’t know what will happen with the other land, which the family is looking to sell to a developer.

If you need me, check under the furniture before deciding I’m not in my office.

Hmmm…. Mr. Bad-No seems everywhere in your neck of the woods.
